Every commission is different, so I estimate how many days a project will take to complete and base my quote on that. Most of my paintings are either 11”x14” or 18”x24”.
I prefer to take my own reference photos, but if you have something in mind for me to paint from an existing photo of yours, let’s talk. Photos need to be clear and detailed. Once we start emailing, I'll need to know what kind of size and price range you're interested in. Every project is different! But to give you an idea, I charge $100/day, and most smaller paintings take around 6 days to complete, and larger and/or super complex paintings can take 12-20 days. It really depends on the painting's size and complexity, and if a second person is involved in the painting, I charge an extra 50%.
